When people think about gardens, they picture flowers, but often forget that it's the trees and shrubs that offer the framework – the bones – of our gardens, adding depth and dimension to the landscape. These landscape plants are also your biggest investment, and they are often selected carelessly or with poor information. At Lockwood's, we believe that there is a shrub or tree suitable for almost every home landscape situation.
We specialize in ornamental and flowering trees and shrubs. Some of our more popular trees are Japanese maples, Hydrangea trees, flowering cherries/apples, and fruit trees. We carry a wide selection of flowering shrubs such as Hydrangeas, Azaleas/Rhododendron, Roses, Lilac, and Buddleia. We also carry Chamaecyparis, Hollies, and other evergreens to add visual interest throughout the year. Don’t forget to check out the unique fruit and native shrubs that we carry. All of our trees and shrubs are selected to be successful and thrive in our zone.

With increased deforestation, deer and rabbits in suburban and urban settings have increased, causing destruction to our landscapes as they forage for food among private properties. Here at Lockwood's, we have many plants that are resistant to these two creatures, so that you may have a garden that you can truly enjoy throughout the year, and is not seen as a salad buffet. You may also plant any of the shrubs you like, if paired with a Deer/Rabbit Repellent, like Liquid Fence, and to spray your plants every 2 weeks or so, and anytime after it rains.
