In this month’s plant spotlight, we are highlighting our new annuals. Each year, our growers carefully select new varieties to bring to Lockwood's. When reviewing light requirements for these plants, please use the following guide:
- Shade: 4 hours or less of direct morning sun.
- Part Sun: 4–6 hours of direct sun.
- Full Sun: 6 or more hours of direct afternoon sun.
Agastache Summerlong Series in 'Lemon'
This is an annual agastache that pollinators love. We have coral, lemon, and magenta. Good for full sun.

Argyranthemum Lollies in 'Marshmallow'
An upright bicolor daisy that is good for full sun.

Aptenia 'Gold Cascade'
A great foliage option for full sun. It features a true chartreuse color, similar to sweet potato vine, with succulent-like leaves. It is in the same plant family as Mezoo which makes it a low maintenance plant.

iCandy Begonia in 'Vanilla Cream'
iCandy begonias are good for sun or shade. This series has dark foliage with bright colored flowers. We will carry 'Coral Pink', 'Inferno', 'Lemon Yellow', 'Sunset', and 'Vanilla Cream'.

Superbells 'Double Grapefruit'
Full sun. Double grapefruit opens a soft yellow and deepens to pink over time.
