This Kokedama Ball workshop was a huge hit last year! Presented by Mary Trifunovic, you will make and take home this stylish and trendy plant creation.
Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, in which an ornamental plant grows. For this workshop, you will be using a fern plant and live sheet moss. The moss is secured to the root ball with fishing line and fern pins. The project includes a hanger to suspend your finished kokedama ball. This is a very beautiful way to hang plants from trees in the shade garden. The ball must be soaked frequently to keep moist. It can also be rested in a bowl or on a plate by an indoor window.
